Year 3 have been studying the Romans this term and have learnt about what they invented, their clothes, their battle formations and how far they conquered to build their empire.

On Roman day, the children dressed up as a Roman. We had soldiers, centurions, emperors, queens and warriors. The children had a fantastic day making shields for battle, creating mosaics, listening to and acting out the story of Romulus and Remus, tasting Roman food and finally marching to the ‘battlefield’ to recreate battle formations!

What a busy but amazing day!
