Welcome to Miers Court Primary School. We have much to be proud of at our school and the website offers just a tiny glimpse of life at our school.
We are a happy two form entry Primary and are proud of our reputation as a friendly and caring place where our children are encouraged to be the very best they can in all aspects of school life. Our children have a strong voice here; from our School Council to our House Captains, pupil leadership is highly valued and there are lots of opportunities for children to contribute to our school community.

Congratulations to everyone in our school community for some amazing successes this year, we'd like to wish you all a wonderful summer break! A special goodbye and good luck to our year 6s as they embark on their next adventure, we are so proud of you all!
Year 2 have been busy making healthy sandwiches as part of their cookery for DT. They have been thinking all about healthy living in Science too, including the importance of a balanced diet and the different food groups. The children really impressed us with their thinking around food hygiene and health and safety. We think we have some future master chefs in the making!
And that's a wrap for PGL 2024. What a trip it's been! The staff have been so impressed with the children's enthusiasm, confidence and teamwork skills. Year 6 have had a great time and it's been a pleasure to see them challenge themselves and, for some, face their fears. Very proud See you soon!
Below, you can find a list of charities and locations that provide free food support in Medway, along with their opening times and contact information.
We are holding two further limited capacity School Tours in January. These tours are an opportunity to see the school in action, and speak to our Head of School or a member of the Senior Leadership team, as well as getting an opportunity to speak to pupils. Each tour is limited to a maximum of 8 families and booking must be made in advance by contacting the school office.

With rising costs for energy bills and food prices, we thought it might be helpful to signpost people to support that could be available to you. We have put together a page of information which you may find useful. You can find it at the bottom of the page below, under "Signposting for Additional Support"
Punctuality and attendance play a huge role in your child's education. Arriving just 5 minutes late each day is the equivalent of losing 3.5 school days in the year! Getting your child to school on time really matters.
