Welcome to Miers Court Primary School. We have much to be proud of at our school and the website offers just a tiny glimpse of life at our school.
We are a happy two form entry Primary and are proud of our reputation as a friendly and caring place where our children are encouraged to be the very best they can in all aspects of school life. Our children have a strong voice here; from our School Council to our House Captains, pupil leadership is highly valued and there are lots of opportunities for children to contribute to our school community.

A better, safer way to report when your child is sick and off school. With a few quick taps or clicks, you can give your child’s school all they need to record absence due to illness.

On Thursday Year 2 ignited their enthusiasm for their Term 6 learning by visiting Kent Life and taking part in two workshops. Firstly they got to meet Florence Nightingale who shared lots about her life and experiences in the Crimean war. They then also took part in a 'meet the animals' workshop ready for their science learning. We got to meet some real characters, including Winifred the cheeky goat and Truffles the pony! The children got to see owls and meerkats too. Did you know Florence Nightingale had a pet owl? Finally the children enjoyed a tractor ride to look at the different crops and animal pens. We were so proud of the impeccable behaviour and respect shown by the children. Well done Year 2!
Macaw class have had some really really exciting news this week! We received a letter from Buckingham Palace! In term 3, as part of our topic, we all wrote letters to the King sharing our concerns about plastic pollution and the environment. This morning we opened and read the letter together. We feel really pleased the King has taken the time to read our letters and respond to us. Read the response from Buckingham Palace!
