Mrs Kerr's Garden

It all started when the children embodied the kind nature that Mrs Kerr always showed by displaying their own acts of kindness. In doing this they raised an amazing amount of money which was the catalyst that propelled the start of Mrs Kerr’s garden.

Through generous donations from local businesses, parents, children and the local community the garden began to take shape through the winter months.

After the Christmas holidays the framework for the garden was complete. Now came the fun part! The children, parents and staff all came together to plant flowers and add decorations. Two very talented parents also made the garden come alive through bright and colourful paintwork.

As a lasting thought, and a constant reminder of Mrs Kerr’s kind nature, each child and staff member decorated a pebble to reflect their appreciation for all her years of dedication.

What a wonderful addition to our school the new garden is, a place of calm and tranquillity for all to enjoy for many years to come.
