Miers Court have had a fabulous day commemorating VE Day on its 80th anniversary! 
Children and staff came to school dressed in red white and blue and spent time learning about VE Day in their classrooms.
To round off the celebrations we held a wonderful community picnic and the weather was very kind to us! A big thank you goes to Ellinors Ice Cream, you were definitely kept very busy this afternoon! 
Thank you also to all our families, community members and ex pupils who came to join us. It was lovely to see such a busy field with lots of happy, smiling faces in the sunshine!
