World Book Day Rap
The children have listened to and completed some work based on MC Grammar's World Book Day rap. The children's homework this week is to learn as much of the rap as they can and be ready to give a little performance to the class next week. Here is the link to the YouTube video.
Welcome to Year 5!
In Year 5, we have two classes: Falcon Class and Kestrel class. The class teachers are Mrs Mead and Mrs Townsend and support staff are Mrs Gillam, Mrs Ridley and Miss Jefford.

Our Learning
We were really impressed during the children's gymnastics lesson this week, they had to practice symmetrical and asymmetrical balances and then do them as partner balances. You can see that the children completed some adventurous balances together. Look in the gallery for more photos.
The children had a great first week back. They had fun playing a variety of Maths games to test their resilience and problem solving skills and they created some wonderful Art inspired by the book 'In Our Hands' by Lucy Farfort.
